Moldtelecom’s email infrastructure was modernized through the implementation of Microsoft Exchange by BTS PRO, ensuring high availability and security for more than 3,000 users.
To meet efficiency and security requirements, Moldtelecom, one of the largest telecommunications providers in the Republic of Moldova, implemented, through BTS PRO, a complete e-mail infrastructure modernization project based on Microsoft Exchange Database Availability Group (DAG) and Edge Servers.
The project was designed to ensure a high-availability virtualized infrastructure, optimized for more than 3,000 Moldtelecom users.
In collaboration with Microsoft, BTS PRO fully migrated data from the company’s outdated e-mail systems and provided audit, consulting and design services for the new e-mail structure.
In addition to Microsoft Exchange Enterprise and Microsoft Windows Server Standard, Kaspersky Security for Exchange was also implemented to protect the e-mail infrastructure against cyber threats.
Through this project, operational reliability and security were strengthened, system downtime was reduced and access to e-mail services was improved.
The modern infrastructure contributed to the protection of sensitive data and the optimization of internal communication, increasing the company’s level of security.
