Fortinet has launched FortiSOC, a cloud platform for managing security operations. It is designed both for teams building their first SOC capabilities and for organizations with advanced security processes.
FortiSOC brings together Security Information and Event Management, response automation and orchestration, threat intelligence and the detection of threats associated with users and identities.
The platform uses agentic AI and intelligence from FortiGuard Labs to correlate alerts, support investigations and automate selected response actions. Its goal is to reduce the time required to move from an alert to investigation and remediation.
FortiSOC can be used to modernize an existing security operations center or gradually develop monitoring and response capabilities without requiring a complete platform replacement as organizational requirements grow.
